This autumn has been full of surprises, and our giant pumpkin journey has taken an exciting new turn! Today, I had the pleasure of chatting with BBC Radio Somerset about the pumpkin that’s been causing a bit of a stir here in Burnham-On-Sea with an ongoing guess the weight competition being hosted by Westcroft Farm shop on Facebook – Link Burnham-On-Sea.com then wrote an article on The Burnham Giant Pumpkin and Ben was asked to appear on BBC Radio Somerset’s breakfast show.
“When I first started growing this pumpkin, I had no idea it would end up with its own article on Burnham-On-Sea.com or become the talk of the town. It’s been a fun adventure, and today’s radio appearance gave me a chance to share a few laughs and the story behind it all with even more people across Somerset.”
One of the best parts of this pumpkin journey has been connecting with the community.
